Aerospace Solutions - Quality System
The Quality Policy at Aerospace Solutions, LLC is:
“To partner with our Clients to provide cost-effective solutions
that provide quality product output that meets or exceeds our
Clients expectations.”
Aerospace Solutions, LLC maintains a quality-one
attitude. Our Engineers and Technicians understand that a quality
product output is expected, but more importantly our approach to
quality customer relationships and support is what drives our
reputation. Aerospace Solutions, LLC personnel strive to support
both concepts.
Personnel within Aerospace Solutions, LLC are
green- / orange- or black-belt Six Sigma /-Lean / -Plus trained.
Aerospace Solutions personnel have experience working Six-Sigma
projects and using Six-Sigma tools to streamline work activity and
reduce waste. These same individuals have worked to institute the
quality management system within Aerospace Solutions.
The quality system at Aerospace Solutions, LLC is
based on ISO9001:2000 / AS9100. We have prepared our work
procedures and instructions to conduct activities for each
discipline and task. However, it is important to work with our
customers to determine if there are key process indicators (KPIs)
that they want tracked. If they have KPIs they want tracked, we
work with our customers to customize our tracking of those
provided KPIs. If the customer does not have KPIs, then Aerospace
Solutions, LLC uses an approach best suited for the tasks to be
performed.
Quality output and tracking is different based on
the task to be performed. Quality control for engineering tasks is
different than quality control for production tasks (such as
technical authoring). To control quality output, detailed tools
and techniques have been developed such as check sheets, process
flowcharts, work activity guides, completion worksheets, final
checklists, and tracking sheets. Again, based on customer
requirements, additional statistical data may also be identified
and tracked that adhere to six-sigma attributes.
The bottom-line for using any of these approaches
is to identify areas of recurring issues and provide lessons
learned to effect change and stop those issues from recurring
without adding cost to the overall
activity.
